Barden is a market leader in the design and manufacture of super precision ball bearings, developing high quality products that are used in some of the most extreme and demanding environments in the world. Barden bearings can be found in X-ray machines, CAT scanners, military and civilian aircraft, and even on the International Space Station.
Now part of the multinational Schaeffler Group, Barden has been supplying super precision bearings to industry since the 1940's, and during that time has built an unrivalled reputation for engineering expertise and manufacturing to the highest ISO P4/P2 (ABEC 7/9) quality standards.
With dedicated "cleanroom" facilities and a highly skilled engineering team focussing on a continuous dental research programme, Barden has been supplying the dental market for over twenty five years. The company is based in the South West of the UK at Plymouth and employs over 450 people at it's state of the art design and manufacturing site.
